Before joining POLITICO, he worked for Sports Illustrated and interned with the Los Angeles Daily News and Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. A Los Angeles native, Alexander holds a master’s degree from the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism and a B.A. in Diplomacy & World Affairs from Occidental College.
