Carly Sitrin covers education for POLITICO New Jersey.

Prior to joining POLITICO, Carly spent two years at NJ Spotlight where she covered prek-12 and higher ed issues, cannabis legalization efforts and social policy.

She’s also a recovering chronic intern and has bylines at Vox, The Boston Globe and Muckrock and has produced audio for Scripps’ “DecodeDC” podcast as well as NPR stations WBUR in Boston and WCAI on Cape Cod.

She holds a degree in journalism from Boston University but was born and raised in Central Jersey.
