Cyril Zaneski brought 16 years of experience covering environment and energy to a fledgling E&E newsroom in 2005 and helped lead its expansion from a dozen journalists to more than 70 today. Cy has won state and national journalism awards for his work as a reporter and editor and was part of team efforts that won two Pulitzers at The Miami Herald. Before getting into journalism, the University of Pennsylvania graduate taught high school English and coached football in his hometown, Shamokin, Pa., part of the Keystone State’s anthracite coal-mining region.
