Danica Stanciu is vice president and head of sales for POLITICO’s Professional Subscriptions. In this capacity, Danica leads a 50+ person salesforce that is responsible for both new and existing clients of POLITICO Pro and E&E News. During her tenure, she successfully launched high-impact products, features, and verticals, including California, Cannabis, Canada and Sustainability, all of which have elevated the value and prestige of POLITICO Pro in terms of revenue growth and increased subscribers. During the midst of the pandemic, Danica revamped a highly competitive product through pricing and packaging upgrades to further increase value to subscribers. She also led a Sales team in the launch of Pro’s Premium offering which includes analysis features that improve communication between subscribers and various stakeholders.

Stanciu began at POLITICO in 2015 as Pro’s managing director of account management and led her team of account managers in serving, renewing and growing our existing client base. Her career spans 15 years in the client services function, with prior work experience at CEB, Gallup and Advisory Board. Stanciu lives on Capitol Hill, where she has resided for almost 20 years, earning her the rank of native Washingtonian.
