Katherine Landergan is the New Jersey bureau chief for POLITICO, and before that was a statehouse reporter for nearly five years. She covers politics and policy in New Jersey and also often writes on broader policy trends across the country. Her beats include labor, business and state finances.

Prior to joining POLITICO, Katherine worked as a correspondent for The Boston Globe and Boston.com, where she wrote primarily about higher education. While at the Globe, she contributed to some major news stories, such as the Boston Marathon bombings and capture of mobster Whitey Bulger.
