Names Changed to Protect the Imaginary

Chuck Schumer, whose new book's zany authenticity has helped win it better reviews than the usual unreadable political tomes, has also got a bit of attention for his reliance on an imaginary family, the Baileys of Massapequa, Long Island, to shape his views on policy.

As another reporter pointed out to me this weekend, however, Chuck has changed the name of his imaginary friends, who are "really" called the O'Reillys and who "really" live in Queens. *

To protect them, no doubt, from swarms of reporters staking out their imaginary house.

UPDATE: There seems to be some dispute over where the real imaginary family really imaginarily lives. So let's stick with Massapequa.
