Sarah Wheaton is Senior Health Reporter for POLITICO.

Prior to moving to Brussels, Sarah was a White House correspondent for POLITICO in the United States, covering the final two years of the Obama administration, and a health care reporter for POLITICO Pro.

Sarah spent the first part of her career at the The New York Times, where her reporting on breaking news, the 2008 and 2012 campaigns and the White House appeared in online and in print. She grew up in Clearwater, Florida, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Communication from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
