The Fifty: America's Governors

Governors are setting the agenda for much of the country in a way that rivals Washington given their roles in managing the final phases of the COVID-19 response in their states. As the US heads into a third year of the pandemic, state governors have varying approaches to vaccine and mask mandates, and other public health measures. But it’s not just pandemic politics where governors are driving the national agenda. Governors are making sweeping policy changes from combating climate change in the form of ambitious clean energy policies to paid family leave, reproductive rights and access to voting.

On January 28 at 10:00 AM ET / 7:00 AM PT, The Fifty: America’s Governors convened governors to discuss their policy agenda, what it takes to lead effectively in an era of deepening political divides, and working with the Biden White House.
