Almost two years after the U.S. decision to pull out of the Paris agreement, climate change is front and center again in Washington as the Green New Deal proposal is presented in the new Congress. At the same time, the private sector, local government leaders and civic groups increasingly are playing more prominent roles in implementing sustainable environmental solutions to address climate change.
